The current research problem related to advanced practice nursing that I have selected is burnout amongst nurse practitioners in primary care and how it affects patient outcomes and care. This is a problem in the advanced practice nursing field because nurse practitioners becoming burnt out in their work leads to an increase in turnover, which also compromises the quality of care being provided within our healthcare system. It is essential to implement interventions that address the burnout amongst nurse practitioners in the primary care setting.
