To prepare for this Discussion:
• Consider your personal and professional goals and their relationship to your enrollment in the Master of Science in Cybersecurity or Master of Science in Data Science.
• Reflect on strengths that will aid you in achieving those goals.
• Reflect on challenges that may prevent you from achieving those goals, including the challenge of managing your time effectively, and strategies for overcoming those challenges.

BY DAY 3
Analyze the goals you want to achieve during, or as a result of your completion of, the Master of Science in Cybersecurity or Master of Science in Data Science. Examine your personal strengths that you believe will be most helpful in helping you achieve these goals and any challenges that may prevent you from achieving your goals.
Post with an initial post of 300–400 words in which you:
• Provide an explanation of three personal or professional goals you want to achieve during, or as a result of your completion of, the Master of Science in Cybersecurity or Master of Science in Data Science.
• Explain the personal strengths that you believe will be most helpful in helping you achieve these goals and why.
• Explain your strategy for effectively managing your time so that you may achieve your goals.
• Explain an additional challenge in addition to managing time that may prevent you from achieving your goals.
Refer to the Week 1 Discussion Rubric for specific grading elements and criteria. Your Instructor will use this grading rubric to assess your work.
Read a selection of your colleagues’ postings.
BY DAY 6
Respond to at least two of your colleagues in one or more of the following ways:
• Compare your goals to those of your colleagues.
• Compare your strengths, challenges, or strategies for overcoming challenges to those of your colleagues.
• Suggest an alternative or improvement to one of the strategies your colleagues have identified for overcoming their challenges.
• Offer a suggestion that might help your colleagues achieve their goals.
Return to this Discussion to read the responses to your initial posting. Note what you have learned and/or any insights you have gained as a result of the comments your colleagues made.
