Throughout the past 10 weeks, you have explored the role of nursing in healthcare policy. You have identified advocacy priorities, participated in analysis and agenda setting, and considered impact and consequence. You also explored your role as a leader policy advocacy by identifying national and global initiatives, as well as considering the role of a nurse as an elected official.

This week, you will reflect on what you learned throughout this course, and you will consider the impact of what you learned.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Students will:

Reflect on nurse engagement in policy advocacy to mitigate health disparities and create health equity
